About the Workshop Leaders

Colonel John Boggs, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret.) is the President of Fortitude Consulting, LLC. He is a leadership expert. For over 30 years Col Boggs has mentored, coached and 0instructed people in leadership positions and aspiring leaders. His clients have ranged from medical group executives, to the New York City Police Department, to working privately with individuals across a spectrum of businesses. Col Boggs has taught senior military officers, government officials, and diplomats from both the United States and Allied Nations. Particularly noteworthy Col John Boggs has had the practical experience of leading. Over his 30 plus years he has led thousands of Marines and civilians and provides the students of the course that added depth of understanding the soft skill of leadership; which he will tell you is the hardest skill of all.

Melissa Lanier is an expert in leadership behavior, talent management and organizational development – helping to change how organization’s think about their culture, their leaders and their business results. She is a seasoned executive with experience leading large global teams in complex corporate environments. She is also a speaker, writer, facilitator and blogger. Her career has included positions with Deloitte, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, and Insight Enterprises.
