This 3-day course will include leadership processes and skills topics such as the importance of vision, and values, decision-making, risk reward analysis, strategy development, and implementing the plan. Unique to this learning experience is the emphasis on leadership behaviors such as setting a personal example, building consensus, painting the big picture and actively listening to diverse points of view. Participants will complete The Leadership Practices Inventory® or LPI.This industry-leading, highly regarded and validated assessment tool measures how often 30 leadership behaviors are practiced from one’s own point of view and as observed by as many as I0 colleagues. In class, participants get valuable feedback from the LPI, learn how to interpret it, and use it as a guide to increasing behaviors that will make them better leaders.
