John has begun on his new book “Leading with Fortitude–Leading Across Gender, Race, and Culture.” The book is expected to be published in early 2014.

John “Beta-Tested” a new course on innovation receiving high marks from the participants. The course will be offered throughout the West Coast this fall.

John is now supporting the Global Maritime Research and Development Center by developing and teaching an “Emerging Leadership” series.
John has started planning for women’s leadership conference to be held in New York City at the SUNY Maritime College’s soon to be available conference center. The theme of the conference is “Women Leading Men.” The conference is tentatively scheduled for the last week of June 2014.
John has started planning for a one-day Women’s Leadership seminar in New York City. The Seminar is planned for the last week of August.
John presented to the local Building Owners and Managers Association, (BOMA of Greater Phoenix) a conversation on the Power of Association, Leadership and Decision Making.

John is selected to Co-chair the Scarlet and Gold Committee. The committee is a leading fundraiser for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation.

John added the New York City Police Department as a client. The effort is to support the advancement of the leadership skills of the Departments junior and mid-level leadership.

John is now a regular contributor to the “CEO Magazine of South Africa.” John writes leadership tips for young female executives.

John is elected to serve as a board member of the Character Education Foundation of Arizona.

John has been invited by the Secretary of the Navy to participate in the 63rd annual Current Strategy Forum on Tuesday, June 12 and Wednesday, June 13, 2012. The theme of this year’s forum is “Global Trends: Implications for National Policy and the Maritime Forces.”

John is currently working with the Phoenix, Arizona based Casa Center for Prevention of Abuse and Violence against Children. The effort is to develop a viable strategy to bring social and emotional learning to Arizona schools.
