Theresa Garcia is a neuroleadership coach based in Arizona. She leads Trust Leadership & Growth LLC, a certified woman and minority owned small business specializing in Leadership and Career Transition Coaching, Team and Board Effectiveness, Strategic Facilitation, and Organization Design Strategy.
Theresa uniquely combines the neuroscience of leadership, evidence-based coaching, and deep expertise in operating model innovations to prepare NextGen leaders and thinkers to lead through the current global economic disruption and continued VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) challenges.
Her clients include leaders facing complex organization challenges in start-up, scale, joint venture, mergers, and acquisitions. Her industry expertise includes aerospace and defense, military, government, manufacturing, global professional services, finance, real estate, technology, universities, public and private elementary schools, hospitals, and medical officers on the front lines of COVID-19.
Prior to coaching, Theresa held leadership positions at Boeing, Ernst & Young Consulting, Gaylord Container Corporation and Hughes Aircraft Company. Her career expertise includes human resource leadership, executive and team coaching, leadership development, performance management, labor relations and contract negotiation, pre-merger culture due diligence, organization design strategy, operating model innovation, change management, strategic planning and facilitation, and industrial health and safety.
Theresa is a graduate of the Georgetown University Transformational Leadership Coaching program and earned a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coach Federation (ICF). She holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, a master’s in Organization Development, and an Executive Certificate in Applied Neuroleadership from Pepperdine University, and a master’s in Human Resources and Organization Behavior from the University of Phoenix. She holds multiple certifications in cognitive behavioral science, human resources, change management, Appreciative Inquiry, Polarity Management, Strategic Facilitation, and Playing Big Facilitation with Tara Mohr. She is a speaker, contributing author, and webinar leader.
Theresa is a certified coach in several validated assessment instruments including, The Birkman Method, Hogan Assessments, Harrison Assessments, DiSC, MBTI, Insights Discovery, Human Synergistics International and several 360 assessment models.
