Ron L. Harvey, MBA, ICF-Certified

Ron Harvey is a native of Florida, he is a certified Leadership Coach, Speaker, Trainer, and Facilitator. Ron is an energetic, engaging individual who believes his purpose is to make a difference by inspiring leaders to excel through learning, growth and adding value to others. He is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Global Core Strategies and Consulting (GCSC), LLC.

Ron is best known for assisting individuals, teams and organizations with achieving and maintaining high levels of sustainable performance by enhancing the leader experience, enabling and elevating employee engagement and coaching business professionals in dynamic leadership development. His career has not only spanned years across the military, but also a variety of business sectors.

He is retired from the United States Army after 21 years of military service. He has more than 35 years of leadership experience working with leaders at all levels. He has served as a leadership educator, executive coach, facilitator, program manager, trainer, and mentor. He has a distinguished record for helping organizations and individuals develop strategies to achieve optimal results by building trust, developing relationships, connecting with those they lead, putting people first, and becoming influential and effective communicators- “Leadership Matters”.

Ron has excelled at influencing organizations strategically, operationally, and tactically. His teams have delivered amazing results, and his experience spans across academic institutions, training organizations, religious organizations, and communities. Ron serves on the Board of Directors for the Columbia Chamber and he is the Past President of the Association of Talent Development Midlands Chapter. He also serves on the Board of Communities in Schools Midlands.

As a leadership coach he has been described as motivating and “Engaging.” In partnership with the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Columbia, SC., Ron has collaborated with Small Business Leaders and Government Leaders at all levels. He has a specific passion and focus, to add value and make a difference. “People Always Matter”!

Ron earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Trident University. He also earned a Certification in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and Certification in Adaptive Leadership from Harvard University. Ron is a Certified Coach with the John Maxwell Team and the International Coaching Federation.
