Win the War of Ideas

How many analogies can one make with business and warfare? I am not sure but here is one more for the books.

Why is ISIS so dang hard to put an end too? Please, give yourself a headache and do not go to the ostensibly obvious answer—troops on the ground, more bombing, etc.

Let’s keep it short and keep it real—you have to have a better idea.

No one wins a fight. I would like to think we learned that as children. Nothing has changed from the schoolyard to power politics to big, and not so big, business when it comes to fighting.

Fighting does not change minds. It breeds revenge.

A wise businessperson competes against him or herself. Be better than you were yesterday; develop that idea and watch your organization grow.
